My computer / hard drive crashed or stolen. Did I loose my product?
Absolutely no! You will get three download attempts for every product you have ordered and there is no time limit in which you have to use up these attempts. Should you run out of download attempts contact us and we will reset them for you.
Sometimes the internet (locally or globally) is overloaded, so you may also try the download at a different period of the day or later. Remember, you do not have any time limit for the downloads.
It is best not to download multiple files from different sources at the same time.
Disable any download manager/accelerator software, as multiple parallel downloads can use up all your download attempts instantly!

I purchased a product and I need a printed invoice. Where can I get it from?
You can print your invoices any time, follow these steps below:

At Recent Orders, select your actual order by clicking on "View Order

Tip: Think before you print! Print your invoice to a PDF file to save paper! You can use a
free virtual printer or use the built-in version of the operating system to accomplish it. You can easily send the PDF receipt via email, backup, even a contemporary accountant will like it!
The downloadable products are basically files in digital format that are transferred from our servers direct to your computer. Products at Samplerbanks are compressed into zip files (made smaller using compression software) to enable faster downloading. You will be able to use the product as if you had installed it from a CD / DVD-ROM.
This is a single file, it embeds all product related files together and make transporting, downloading and storing files in a more efficient manner. The zip format is the most popular compression format used in modern OS's (like Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, etc) and you can easily decompress zip files using the built-in tools of these operating systems. It only takes 1-2 minute to decompress a product.
The most likely cause of this is that the file has not been downloaded fully and the zip file is corrupt. You will need to download the product again, if you use up all of your three download attempts and are still having problems, reach us via the Contact Us form.

If I buy downloadable sounds, what exactly am I actually purchasing?
When you buy sounds from Samplerbanks - no matter who the producer was - then you buy a license to use the samples in your own productions. Note that you are not obtaining OWNERSHIP of the sounds - you are in fact purchasing a LICENSE to use the sounds within your musical compositions, whether or not your compositions are released commercially. The license is non-transferable, so if you are using an illegal copy of the product, you are not authorised to use the sounds. The original producer of the sounds will always remain the owner of the actual sounds. It is very important that you keep your receipt in a safe place in order to prove that you have purchased the product and have a license to use those sounds provided.
You may use the sounds in combination with other sounds within your musical compositions which also include soundtracks of such as films, video productions, radio/TV programs or commercials, computer games and multimedia presentations, library music, etc. You may modify these sounds and release such compositions commercially without payment of any further fees or royalties for such usage. Very important: you should use these sounds as part of a musical composition with other sounds. For example, if you are the original purchaser of a sample pack and you used sounds from it to create the soundtrack of a television commercial, simply by combining a drum loop sample with a synthesizer loop sample, and the TV advert was broadcast hundreds of times, you would keep all royalties that the advert earns you, because you have purchased a private license to use the sounds commercially. However, you cannot use the sounds in isolation (i.e. when not within musical compositions) as part of a commercially released project - for instance you cannot use the sounds to make another sample package, effects on a website or any multimedia production - unless as part of a composition with other sounds.
Nobody, unless they have also purchased the same sounds. Only the original purchaser of the sounds has the right to use them commercially. This means that you cannot sell or give away the sounds to anyone else. If you do, and someone else uses the sounds within a commercial release, they will have to pay royalties to the relevant producer / label for using the sounds. You will also have broken the law.
I do not know which format to select. Can you help me?
Sure. It is quite important to know the correct format before purchase. For example, if you use the Apple Logic application on Mac, it is best to select the Apple Loops format. If you are in doubt, just have a look at the Specification tab on the Product page to check compatibility. Click the desired format and you will get a description about the format, with all related products being listed.
Sorry, I bought a package in the wrong format. So...what to do?
