Trance
Trance is a style of electronic dance music originates from the late 90s. Trance music is generally characterized by a tempo of between 130 and 155 BPM with "very electronic" sounds: speedy layered basslines, short melodic synthesizer phrases and arpeggios, vocals, transition effects and all sorts of musical form that builds up and down throughout a track. Some famous artists of the genre: Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk, Above & Beyond, Tiësto, ATB, Paul Oakenfold, Solarstone.
